About
Community Involvement

I believe through community involvement we can enhance our relationships, collaborate for the collective good and create the time to step away from the day to day that we all get wrapped up in.  I have found it rewarding and essential to return a little when most of us are blessed with a lot.

During the course of my career, I been involved with the following organizations:

  • Habitat for Humanity
  • Baja Challenge
  • Christmas in April
  • Toys for Tots
  • Polinsky Center
  • Door of Hope
  • Outreach for Humanity
  • AVID
  • Challenged Athletes Foundation

While attending Graduate School at the University of San Diego, I took the opportunity to turn a project management class into a Community Service project and rebuilt a home in need in the surrounding Linda Vista neighborhood.  The home was outfitted with new appliances, new carpet, paint, and a remodeled kitchen and bathroom.  We added ramps and made the house more easily accessible for its homeowner and even remodeled the landscaping with more drought tolerant plants that would be easy to maintain.
